Why 26 Glaciers?

The  26 Glacier Cruise is the Premium product in Prince William Sound. You’ll venture further into the Sound than any other cruise offered, on the most luxurious vessel operating in Alaska. We’ll take you through majestic Esther Passage, and into College Fjord, where glaciers tower over the water in every direction. Then, we’ll travel into Harriman Fjord, renowned for one of the most active glaciers in the Sound, Surprise Glacier. We’ll take some time in front of this tidewater glacier to watch for calving – where massive ice pieces fall from the face and into the water, creating a sound best described by the natives of this area as “White Thunder”.  Cruise with a Forest Service Ranger Cruise with a National Forest Service Ranger: All of our cruises are narrated by a Chugach National Forest Service Ranger. They provide an insider’s view of this area, and are available all day to teach you about the natural history of the area – they are your personal guide through the Sound. They’ll also work with the kids on the popular “Junior Ranger” program. Always a hit!
Lunch aboard the Klondike Free Lunch: The 26 Glacier Cruise is pleased to offer you a complimentary lunch with your trip. You’ll enjoy a meal of Alaskan Cod or Chicken Strips, with chips and cole slaw. The chicken is great, and we receive hundreds of great comments about the Alaskan Cod we serve too, but don’t just take our word for it!
No Seasickness No Sea Sickness – Guaranteed: With the combination of our stable catamaran, the M/V Klondike Express, and the protected waters of Prince William Sound – we guarantee a trip without sea sickness or your money back. If you’re concerned about motion sickness in the least, we’re the choice for you!
The People The People: Our folks are the best in the business, and we’re proud of it. From the first phone call to when we bid you farewell from the boat, you’ll be working with folks that are just as passionate about showing you the Sound as you are to see it. Our reservations staff take the trip as much as possible, because they love being out there, and our crew is ALWAYS excited to be out on the water, and they always love sharing that excitement with you.
